Tank Commander

As the Tank Commander (TC), she’s Michael’s partner in ridesharing and in life. While Michael handles the driving and getting to know people on the road, Rebecca works at home, molding the clay of his talk-to-text posts into recognizable shapes.

Author / Illustrator

As an Author and Illustrator, Rebecca is known as R.L. Oaks. Her books include: Dog, Dog…Goose?, Henry’s Tail, and Fearless Feet. She is in the process of completing her fourth book, Henry’s Stumped! All of her books are available for Kindle and in paperback on Amazon.com and Createspace.com.

Freelancer / Artist / Entrepreneur

As a freelancer, Rebecca serves as an artist, an Avon Lady, a housekeeper, a reviewer, and a secretary.

Education

As a student, Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Central Methodist University. She is also pursuing a Certificate of Proficiency in Medical Coding and Billing from St. Louis Community College at Forest Park.

Mother / Super Heroine

In addition to all of this, Rebecca is the proud mother of Samantha, an aspiring veterinarian who has autism. Rebecca also has autism, and while her autism is different from Samantha’s, she feels that it gives her understanding and insight that will help Samantha and the world around her adapt to each other.

Rebecca also shares her home with Sandy and George, a bonded pair of cats who are mother and daughter, respectively.
