Smiley Ridesharing: St. Louis Uber Vehicle 5 Star Service at the Car Wash

Before beginning his Uber shift, Michael grabbed his TC (tank commander, Michael’s nickname for his fiancee Rebecca. Beside, not behind, every great man is an equally great woman and she’s more equal than others.) and headed to the place that gives him a great start to providing five-star service: the car wash.

A clean ride is crucial to making a great first impression, and since we’re making first impressions all the time when we Uber, having a reliable car wash facility available is very important. Michael enjoys the service of the Blue Iguana. (Read More – Smiley Ridesharing: Blue Iguana Car Wash, St. Louis) The Blue Iguana has two locations near our home base; one is on Page Avenue, and the other is on St. Charles Rock Road. For anywhere between $3- $15, one can get their car cleaned and use the vacuums at their leisure.

It really does make a difference, because while there are idioms about not judging a book by cover, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. As a rideshare driver, Michael makes nothing but first impressions—very rarely does he get the pleasure of picking up someone with whom he has already had established a relationship.

On a side note, sometimes being an actual pillow has its advantages. I can be cleaned using a vacuum, even though it sucks. But you know me, everything in life is something to smile about (probably because I have only one expression).

Smiley Ridesharing: Life In, Around and Beyond St. Louis

On a melancholy note, Michael just dropped off his father and his son for their return trip to Texas. I can tell that he’s feeling a little down about it, but it has strengthened his resolve to complete his education and to be able to provide a loving and safe home for Joshuah. I know Michael understands that this is for Josh’s best while he’s in graduate school.

In addition to completing his education, Michael is looking forward to continuing to grow his Uber business. With help of this blog, we may be able to bring in additional income to pay off some debts afford a home of our own. (You Can Help Here: Smiley Supporting)

I know Michael really appreciates those that are been following our adventures at SmileySharing.com and our efforts to add a bit of positivity to our readers’ days. It’s been said that the most positive, cheerful, kind, happy people are usually ones that have gone through some of the worst stuff in life, and yet they still continue to smile.

To begin our day to day I want to encourage you. SmileySharing is not just the website—it’s a concept. Sometimes the smile we share may just save a life.

Smiley Rider & Driver Mental Health and Wellness: Self-Care

Since Michael is planning on working a full twelve hours to help out as many people as possible on St. Patrick’s Day, I suggested we head back to base early and get some rest. Michael knows that self-care is just as important as hard work when it comes to providing the five-star service his riders deserve, so he agreed, and we headed back to base.

I know that this blog has been short, but the message is still important: self-care is vital to providing the best service possible. Doing your best to make a good first impression, working hard, and taking great care of your family are all important, but if you don’t make time to take care of yourself as well, you won’t have the time, energy, and attitude necessary to accomplish all you want to do each day. Sometimes you just need to take a little time for yourself!

 Take Me With You!

I hope you know that with me you’re never riding alone and that I may bring a smile to your face. 🙂
